Overview
We are seeking a commercially minded professional to support a focused piece of commercial due diligence for a UK-based HealthTech business. This role will concentrate on evaluating the effectiveness and scalability of the company’s operating model, people strategy, and client engagement processes.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with strong analytical and stakeholder engagement skills who are interested in strategic business assessment. Prior due diligence or financial modelling experience is not required.
Scope of Work
You will work closely with senior stakeholders to assess and provide insight across three core areas:
1. Operating Model
- Evaluate how the business delivers its products/services
- Assess organisational structure, workflows, and decision-making processes
- Identify strengths, inefficiencies, and scalability constraints
- Review use of technology and operational systems
2. People Strategy
- Analyse organisational design, talent capabilities, and leadership structure
- Review hiring, retention, and performance management approaches
- Assess alignment between people strategy and business objectives
- Identify key people risks and dependencies
3. Client Engagement Process
- Map the end-to-end client journey (from acquisition through to retention)
- Evaluate sales, onboarding, and account management processes
- Assess customer experience and feedback mechanisms
- Identify opportunities to improve engagement and retention
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured interviews with internal stakeholders
- Review internal documentation, processes, and tools
- Synthesise findings into clear, actionable insights
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
- Contribute to a final due diligence report and presentation
Candidate Profile
Essential:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or business analysis
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems and deliver clear insights
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced project environment
Desirable (but not required):
- Experience in HealthTech, healthcare, or digital services
- Exposure to organisational design or customer journey mapping
- Familiarity with SaaS or technology-enabled business models
What This Role Does Not Require
- No financial modelling or accounting expertise
- No prior due diligence experience
- No investment banking or private equity background

Duration & Rate
10–15 working days (intensive due diligence engagement), delivered flexibly over a 6–10-week period, charged at a competitive day rate.
